40 Below Info: **REDUCES WATER TEMPERATURE UP TO 40 DEGREES ** Comments: I was at the local race parts supply checking out 40 below and the counterman tells me that if you just add it to the regular 50/50 anti-freeze it will cause the coolant to coagulate. Comments: Though I have not tried this product on it’s own, when combined with radiator shrouds this combination lowered the operating temperature of my 2001 DS650 significantly. On past outings, the cooling fan would come on very frequently. On my first weekend using this Engine Ice / Shroud combo the fan came on only once, and briefly at that! Until the point the fan came on, I was beginning to wonder if the fan had died, but I was pleasantly surprised to know that my new cooling devices had very positively affected my machine! I can recommend this combination to anyone needing a cooler operating machine. (Doesn’t everyone?) (BlackHawk from Santa Clarita, California) Water Wetter Info: Supercoolant is a unique wetting agent for cooling systems which reduces coolant temperatures by as much as 30°F. This liquid product can be used to provide rust and corrosion protection in plain water for racing engines, which provides much better heat transfer properties than glycol-based antifreeze. Or it can be added to new or used antifreeze to improve the heat transfer of ethylene and propylene glycol systems. Designed for modern aluminum, cast iron, copper, brass, and bronze systems. Comments: According to the label when mixed with anti-freeze mix it doesn’t lower temps very much over 50/50, when used in low anti-freeze mix's it does better but it offers no freeze up protection.
